Shortcuts and tools
This section brings together the global system tools that do not belong to a specific module but are part of the user's day to day. They are shortcuts, panels and useful views accessible from the top bar, the side menu or the My profile panel.

How they relate to the modules
- Spotlight is a quick entry point to any module. Its actions and results are filtered by permission.
- Audit log records all relevant actions from any module.
- Birthdays is fed by the users and medical staff catalogs.
- Day / night mode affects all application screens.
- Profile connects with the session, visual preferences and device linking (QR).
Permissions and availability
None of these tools require an additional permission beyond the active session. The only nuance is that some controls (such as the user selector in the audit log) depend on specific permissions that are detailed on each page.
General recommendations
- Use Spotlight as the main entry point for frequent actions. It reduces clicks and search time.
- Check the birthday icon at the start of the shift so as not to miss any celebration.
- Mark the notifications bell as viewed at the beginning and end of the shift so as not to miss notices.
- Choose a theme and keep it to reduce visual fatigue.
- Keep the profile photo and password updated from My profile.
