Presentations
Objective
Maintain the catalog of presentations (containers) used in medications: box, bottle, ampule, blister, etc. It also includes the system parameters that define the available options.
How the screen is organized
List of presentations and side drawer with the container parameters.
Available actions
- Create presentation: high dialog with key, label and icon.
- Edit presentation: adjust label or icon.
- Activate or deactivate: the presentation stops being available.
- Configure parameters: drawer with the list of system containers (
PRESENTATIONS_CONTAINERS_PARAMETER_KEY).
Permissions
PRESENTATIONS: WRITEto create and edit.PRESENTATIONS: ADMINto delete.
Before starting
- Define the containers that the clinic manages (for example: Box, Bottle, Ampule, Blister).
- Know the default parameters (
DEFAULT_PRESENTATIONS_PARAMETERS).
Step by step - Create
- Go to Catalogs -> Presentations.
- Click New presentation.
- Enter: key, label, icon.
- Confirm.
Step by step - Configure parameters
- Click the gear icon in the header.
- In the drawer, add, edit or delete system containers.
- Confirm.
Expected result
- The presentation is registered.
- It appears as an option in the presentation selector when capturing medication variants.
- The system shows a success message.

Common errors

Operational recommendations
- Keep the presentations catalog reduced to the real market options.
- Document internally the convention (for example: "Box = solid presentation", "Bottle = liquid presentation").
Relation with other modules
- Medications: the variants of medications use presentations.
- Prescriptions: when printing or sending a prescription, the presentations appear listed.
