Capture study
Objective
Record the data of a medical study in its capture phase: identification, type, macroscopic, microscopic, morphological values, etc.
Before starting
- Have the patient registered.
- Have the study types catalog configured.
- Have
MEDICAL_CAPTURE: WRITE.
Step by step
- Enter the Study capture module from the side menu.
- The screen opens in the Capture tab.
- To start a new study, select the patient (use the search engine if not visible).
- Choose the study type (seminogram, fragmentation, etc.).
- Enter the data requested in the specific dialog of the study type. The fields change according to the type:
- Seminogram: macroscopic, microscopic, morphological, other cells.
- Fragmentation: fragmentation index, method, observations.
- Insemination: donor, technique, date.
- Freezing: samples, method, destination tank.
- Unfreezing: source sample, date, technique.
- Papanicolaou: cells, observations.
- Colposcopy: findings, biopsy, observations.
- Attach images if the study requires it (using the image cropper).

Suggested permissions
MEDICAL_CAPTURE: WRITE.
Operational recommendations
- Capture all relevant data in a single session to avoid duplication or loss of information.
- If the study requires a survey, send the link to the patient before continuing.
Relation with other modules
- Patients: the study is associated with the patient.
- Gamete bank: freezing, unfreezing and insemination studies interact with the bank.
- Prescriptions: when moving to interpretation, a related prescription can be generated.
