Objective

Record the medical interpretation of a study that has already been captured, leaving evidence of the analysis and conclusions so the result is deliverable.

Before starting

  • The study must be in Capture or Interpretation status with complete data.
  • Have MEDICAL_CAPTURE: WRITE.

Step by step

  1. Enter the Study capture module.
  2. Open the Interpretation tab.
  3. Locate the study to interpret (by patient, type or date).
  4. Click the Interpret icon of the study.
  5. The interpretation dialog opens. Enter:
    • Clinical findings.
    • Diagnosis.
    • Recommendations.
    • Comments or additional observations.
  6. Optionally, generate a prescription linked to the study from the same dialog.
  7. Confirm with Save.

Expected result

  • The study moves to the Interpretation status (or Results if finalized from here).
  • The interpretation is recorded with the date, responsible doctor and content.
  • The system shows a success message.
  • The study is ready to be sent to the patient or finalized.

Common errors

  • MEDICAL_CAPTURE: WRITE.

Operational recommendations

  • Capture the interpretation with clarity and standard terminology so it is useful for the patient and other doctors.
  • If the interpretation requires additional studies, add it as an observation.

Relation with other modules

  • Patients: the interpretation is associated with the patient.
  • Prescriptions: a prescription linked to the study can be generated.
  • Notifications: the status change can trigger notification rules.
