Edit service
Objective
Update the data of an existing service: name, description, cost, type or medical group.
Before starting
- Locate the service in the table.
- Have
SERVICES: WRITE.
Step by step
- Enter the Services module.
- Locate the service (use the search if the list is long).
- In the row, click the Edit icon (pencil).
- The dialog opens with the preloaded data.
- Modify the necessary fields.
- Confirm with Save.
Expected result
- The dialog closes.
- The table reflects the changes.
- If the cost changed, new charges use the updated value. Already made charges keep the cost from the moment.

Common errors

| The Edit icon does not appear | Verify the SERVICES: WRITE permission. |
| The changes are not saved | Check the connection and the mandatory fields. |
| The change of medical group affects the schedule | Future appointments still show the color of the previous group. Coordinate with the schedule team. |
