Create marketing campaign
Objective
Create a marketing campaign to send a message to a patient segment by email, SMS or both.
Before starting
- Have the segment or selected patient list.
- Have the message content (subject and body) reviewed.
- If applicable, have the attachment file ready.
Step by step
- Enter the Marketing (Promotions) module from the side menu.
- In the Audience section, select the smart segment or customize the selection with the lazy table.
- Verify that the number of patients is within the limit (max 500).
- In the Form, enter:
- Subject (min 5 characters).
- Preview text (optional).
- Message (min 20 characters).
- Sending channel (EMAIL, SMS, EMAIL_SMS).
- Send now or Schedule for a future date.
- Tags (optional).
- Attachment (optional).
- Confirm with Send or Schedule.
Expected result
- The campaign is registered and sent (or scheduled) to the selected segment.
- The system shows a success message.
- The campaign is reflected in the performance snapshot.

Common errors

- Write permission on the Marketing submodule.
Operational recommendations
- Before sending, preview the message (when available) to validate the format.
- Segment the audience by patient type (for example, patients with a recent study) to improve relevance.
Relation with other modules
- Patients: the audience comes from the patients catalog.
- Audit log: the send is recorded.
- Notifications: the send can trigger automatic rules.
