View patient information
Objective
Consult in a single view the patient's complete record: personal data, contacts, addresses, sexual partners, study history, payments and obstetric records.
Before starting
- Locate the patient with the search.
Step by step
- Enter the Patients module.
- Search for the patient by name, medical record or phone.
- In the patient's row, click the Information icon (ID card).
- A side drawer opens with the patient's sections.
- Navigate between the tabs or sections of the drawer to review:
- Personal data.
- Addresses.
- Contacts.
- Linked sexual partners.
- Studies (capture, interpretation, results, finished).
- Payments and advances.
- Obstetric records (if applicable).
- Close the drawer with the X or by clicking outside.
Expected result
- The drawer shows the consolidated patient information.
- No modification is made; this view is for consultation only.

Common errors
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| The drawer does not show a section | The patient does not have information recorded in that section. |
| The drawer is slow to load | Some sections are loaded lazily; wait for the loading indicator to finish. |
| I need to edit from the drawer | The drawer is for consultation; to edit, use the Edit patient flow. |
Suggested permissions
PATIENTS: READis sufficient to view the information.- Some sections (for example, payments) may depend on additional modules with their own permissions.
Relation with other modules
- Schedule: from the drawer you can jump to the patient's schedule.
- Cash box: the patient's payments and advances are seen here.
- Prescriptions and studies: the patient's prescriptions and studies are seen here as a summary.
- Gamete bank: if the patient has plans or samples, they appear linked.
